- Less then a month when Chelsea leaves for camrose then to mexico. She is excited for some warm weather since she’s been getting none out here!
- Noni’s parents (Cheryl and jon) are officially coming from july 219 till the 23rd when they take Chelsea home. This is exciting news because it is always nice to have new blood around!
- We spent yesterday together in Whitehorse and had an amazing time that included absolutely NO grocery shopping! We picked up stuff we needed, bought stuff we probably didn’t, and got tattoos. (just joking about the tattoos! Those are waiting till January semester). We ate at this fabulous Mexican restaurant for supper…guess who still has heart burn, haha! Yup it’s Chelsea…but she’s trying to prepare herself.
- Noni’s birthday is coming up. Any ideas?
- Watched Indiana jones: raiders of the lost ark last night. Gee has acting sure improved since then!
- In 5 days all of us staff plus more of the Kramer family are spending a night in Skagway, Alaska for Canada day…funny…why are we going to the states?! It should be a good time and probably guaranteed to get a bit out of hand…if you know what I mean…but it will be a good break for all of us from the restaurant!
- Last week we had a lunch that included two busues and a caravan…all at 11:30…it was insane! Chelsea has become the official bus greeter (oh boy…) so she was running around with her head cut off all morning/early afternoon! She did pretty good for tips that day…approx 70 bucks…which is really good for mukluk’s!

an update:
- chelsea caught a fish when we went fishing to the mud line about a week ago…saving it for the solstice party this saturday…sure to be a good time!
- this past monday was chelsea’s birthday and she has never had a birthday so incredible! the staff arranged a scavenger hunt around the property which included her favorite things such as hot dogs and beans, snow, all dressed chips, cheese whiz, dogsledding book, a bush pie maker, and of course shots of who knows what that she couldn’t refuse! to end the scavenger hunt we all had a campfire which included smores…amazing!

Dear blog readers
We apologize for the absence of updates, however being the best servers in al of the Yukon takes up a bunch of our time! No but for real here is an update both in writing and in photos.
To begin:
- Work is going great! We rarely get to work together or have time off together. I don’t even know noni anymore?! It’s mostly because we are both the ultimate till girls, but we are going to figure it out soon and make a crazy trip to Whitehorse!
- Living in chuch and jan’s old trailer with the other lovelies of mukluk’s is going great. We have already had one girl leave…who knows about that one?! Three of us are from sk, one from ab, and one from bc. About a week ago we had a girls night…it got rowdy, a bit inappropriate at times, but overall a definite highlight! There is a pretty hilarious video if anyone is interested!
- (Side note: we’ve noticed Shannon is back! Yeah global Edmonton! But wait…where’s Duane? Anyone know?)
- Bedouin is still the sound of our summer.
- Ask noni how she likes her two days off in a row…haha! There sure seems to be not much to do around here sometimes so when we get the chance to leave we take it pretty quickly! Chelsea and Adam had a chance to bugger off for a couple days and went to Haines Junction to do some paddling on Kathleen Lake in Kluane National Park. Had fun, met some secret hide out campers that invited us for a beer, saw a golden eagle, didn’t catch any fish, and ate way too much ice cream! On the way home we had to pick up groceries for EVERYONE! (talk about the least ideal sitution…Chelsea got pretty stressed, but not as bad as she thought she would!)
- Right now it is Noni’s second day off and will include such activities as napping, baking (which we are all not pleased with!), hanging out in her place of employment, and visiting the Yukon Motel for the weekly internet fix.
- Noni and Nicky (the boss) are pretty tight…we wonder about them…they are crazy together…and LAZY…whenever they work together there is always stuff forgotten!

- We don’t know what else to say…life here is pretty relaxed, stress free, and exactly what we needed for this summer. If there is anything anyone wants to know just leave a comment and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
