first week of work went good!
ice is still covering the lake but at least now it’s broken up.
restaurant has been kinda slow this past week…let’s hope it picks up soon.
we only have one cook…adam…haha…someone gets no time off yet!
haven’t had the salmon yet but will try to soon.
waiting patiently for sheena to come and visit…and mom and dad.
we miss our roomates.
naomi has some massive massive mosquito bites!!! (the biggest on her forehead, waaahaaa!!)
starting to plan some paddling trips.
had our first bonfire last night.
not much else to share right now. we promise we will have a better post soon enough!

Everything is going great!
So far we’ve:
- spent many many moons in a purple jeep
- spent two nights in a tent (Naomi is slowly adjusting, haha), one with a lot of snow
- went to Liard Hot springs (dang…)
- saw 16 black bears, 8 caribou, 2 moose, 5 foxes, some unidentified animal, and 3 spruce grouse
- spent alot no gas
- checked out smithers and all bought a book (we’ve been reading planet walker and the black grizzly of whiskey creek…both very good!)
- checked out whitehorse and failed in an attempt to find a tattoo joint for me and naomi
- played scene it alphabet for 4 hours
- and much more, bla bla

Not much else is new…we will try to add photos soon!
it’s finally tuesday and we are finally heading to the yukon (while making some detours on the way up!). i am suspending my phone and won’t turn it back on until october probably, but for once i will have the same number! i will be checking my email often so if anything exciting happens let me know! happy weddings sonja and carly, sorry i can’t be there!
