i am a very happy girl right now!!! besides finishing ‘Deep Waters’ my day will now include a trip to fiona’s mid afternoon with my TOQUE AND MITTS before writing 5 pages for one paper and seeing cullen play at merchants tonight!
p.s. congratulations melissa and james!!! i am excited to meet ms. sommer lyn!!

well my doomsday week is over and i couldn’t be more thankful!! so i am soaking this saturday up…on my couch… after cleaning my house and finding out some pretty exciting news about a certain friend. and now i finally have time to update my blog, send out a couple augustana against aids emails and do absolutely noooo homework. those 4 midterms, 2 canoe finals, one paper proposal, one final fantasy concert, one wedding and one augustana against aids open mic night was enough for one week…so i am taking a day off! tonight is the coffee house at clbi for welcome back weekend so i will be able to catch up with a few people and spend some time with amy before she leaves camrose tomorrow.
the open mic last night was a hit…which i am so thankful for! the 2 men who created augustana against aids were able to attend last night which was such an honor. brian and bruce have amazing hearts and are so encouraging. brian was the first president, then bruce, then tif and now me. over the past four years there have been some pretty amazing things that have happened to the group and with the group. i am so honoured to be in a class with those three and to know that i have their support no matter what. sometimes i forget why i do the things i do and begin to focus on the stress and the organizing and everything else that i shouldn’t worry about…and then i talk to bruce…and my heart gets tossed around a bit, some tears fall, and i realize how much of a dummy i can be sometimes. i feel so blessed that i have been given this opportunity and hope that i can be a part of making a difference while getting others to want to be a part of that as well.
anyways…that’s enough typing for my day off so i am signing out now. i hope everyone is having a great weekend!
