yup! i am currently trying to start a new blog…so far this computer doesn’t like it a decided to shut it down in the middle of me making it (maybe that’s a bad sign)…but note for the future there will be a new blog! i am getting bored of blogger…so i decided to try one on word press…cuz cody’s is amazing! anyways…sorry no updates lately…i’ve been busy. it’s spring break this week and i have been stuck at school…but have got alot done…not so much homework wise though?! went to edmonton last weekend and did some skiing, went to mec, went to improv, came back, went out with amy and jer, have been at clbi 3 times so far…i know i’m pathetic! but i’ll have you all know (mostly avey and jamie) that i watched my very first grey’s anatomy episode last night…needless to say i wasn’t following so well but i thought i’d give it a go. tonight me and ladies are going out on the town…ya that’s right hitting up the camrose night life! ok…ok…not really, maybe just east-side marios? but no husbands allowed…sorry greg…ha ha! it should be fun. in preparation for this evening i was stretched extremely out of my comfort zone…updates later! but for now i have to go and study biomechanics…it’s too bad i haven’t done any physics in 5 years…cuz that would really come in handy right now! well i hope everyone is having a great break…can you believe school is 3/4 over an that i leave for my trip in 2 weeks!!! have fun at the concert sheen! ciao!
i forgot to tag someone else…(this is dumb)…but i guess i will tag sheena and mom/dad (because i know they won’t/can’t do it…therefore this stupid cycle will be closer to an end)!
well i have been away for awhile but now i am back and tabby is on my back about this tagging thing so i guess i will do it. but first here is an update:
- still struggling with what to do this summer…really leaning towards staying home…but still really unsure. this is bizarre for me because i usually know in december!
- wondering whether picking up a job right now would be a good thing…considering somehow i have to get in wicked shape and go skiing several times in just one month to prep for winter course…should have got on that earlier…but i haven’t been all there for awhile.
- getting stressed with all i have to do when i get back to school…lots to do over feb. break…good timing!
- mom’s birthday tomorrow…HAPPY BIRTHDAY…WELCOME BACK HOME!
- (did everyone know that my mom is the most amazing person in the world…well…in case you didn’t…SHE IS!)
- have been trying to decide on a sleeping bag to get…you’d think i would know after writing that massive paper on sleeping bags…but not yet!
- waiting for the plastic surgeon in camrose to call me to look at my thumb…the doc recommended it!
- i am looking for one of those things you wear over your eyes when you sleep…not in a pumped-up-prom-queen sort of way, but my roomate doesn’t go to bed until way later then me…so i figure that might help me fall asleep faster…no?…anyways…they are really hard to find i’ve realized!…(and i am slightly embarrased asking for one).
- ummm maybe that is enough update for now…here’s 5 things the average person might not know about me…(i think that’s what this is about anyways?!)
1) i have OCD…well…i think…and i am pretty sure it was alot worse when i was little…can grow out of it? anyways i still have a bit…like with hitting my foot on stuff, cracks in the pavement and how i breathe when i hit that crack, walking in the middle of the sidewalk!..and other random things…this is where my symmetry thing comes from i think?!
2) I LOVE HANSON! (this one i don’t think alot of people know)…but come one…those harmonies! they are very versatile…and really good! i don’t care what you say…they sing amazing, they look good (especially in sweatervests!), they write their own lyrics, and they are coming out with an album soon soon soon!
3) i really like sobe’s green tea…even though whenever i drink it i get sick to my stomach…like really sick! but it probably still is one of my favorite drinks…i mean…besides coffee!
4) ever since i was in gr 9 (i think) i have wanted to be the next barbara walters. and i really thought i had a chance when she quit 20/20…but it didn’t work out…minor problem. even at my grad when they introduced me they said “this is chelsea halvorson…she is going to be the next barbara walters”…so one day my chance will come!
5) my favorite place in all the world to go when i want to relax/do a devo/think/etc. is the dock at camp luther…i mean you look at it and you think “ghetto”…but it is beautiful to me! i wish you all could experience it…with your feet in the water…nails jabbing you in the butt…looking into the green grave of that poor deer…what a peaceful time!

i found this song yesterday by dustin kensrue (thrice)…it’s pretty good…i didn’t even know he had a solo album but it’s friggin good! check it out.
so i am almost done my 13 page paper on sleeping bags…just working on the presentation now! hope you are all having a great weekend! i might update shortly because tabby ‘tagged’ me…so we’ll have to see!?
