k, so i’ve never been a huge fam of beyonce…not for any particular reason…just never to excited about her. but i did watch oprah when she was on it and sang her latest song from the dream girls soundtrack…and i was blown away…talk about chills up my spine! so here is a link…check it out!

oklahoma vs boise state

the last quarter plus OT were played like you’d see in a movie…absolutely incredible with the last play being a run for a 2-point conversion, which would put boise up by one…and they did it…
WATCH THE OVERTIME
and not only did johnson race to the end zone for the game-winning, 2-point conversion, but he also proposed to his girlfriend on the field in the frenzied aftermath.
anyways, it was exciting for dad and i last night at 12:00 am…and now we are wondering who is going to make a movie about it first, especially with the proposal…lame lame!

well i know this might be lame but i am gonna recap my 2006…mostly out of boredom, but also so i can remember how great of year it was! alright so here we go…
january:
- started by being at a young adults new years bash…requiring a dress…and heels. but i got a 25 dollar gift certificate from goodwood boards…which i never did spend..hmmmm?!
- new semester…had great classes…and had such good timing in meeting sonja, johny b and vega in the hall every mon/wed/fri!
- curtis moved to stoon…sad!
- sheena and conrad move into demon house!
- breakforth…yeh krys and asymmetrical brown hair?!
- cullen made his first cd
february:
- started talking to the colonel about summer 06 @ camp luther…getting excited!
- chocolate theme in salon for v-day…lame!
- mom’s birthday
march:
- official girls head counsellor…super excited about the rest of the staff!
- finish off app for school and send her in!!!
- 6 months at chatter’s…holla!
april:
- had a weekend off…finally!!
- dad’s birthday
- finals…school’s done!
- ummm…?
may:
- dave left on tour
- auntie sandra’s birthday
- eder runs over evan with his car
- may long in calgary with the ladies!
- work work work
june:
- sheena and conrad’s 1st anniversary…paper right?!
- birthday for me, sheen, and kyle
- sheena and conrad move out of demon house and get their own!
- alot of camp and school prep
- move to camp!
- watch emily rose with walker on our first night at camp, late at night, when we were the only ones there yet…maybe a bad idea?! (walker: “this is dumb right? shang, we are so stupid, right? if we turn it off right now i bet i won’t have a nightmare. well…what do u think?”) (yeh, tribute to walker…pray for him as he is in india right now on trek…happy new year dude!)
july:
- got a sweet birthday package @ camp!
- meet and train with rest of camp staff and get camp rolling!
- puke fest 06…(oh man didn’t retro have the summer of her life!)
- sheena and conrad get moses…i’m an auntie!
- dave goes to europe on tour
- cullen’s birthday…and his first beer…holla!
- got to play with mikayla and mitchie lots…and hold megan!
- brown cream soda!
- vancouver night club experience…(astro boy: “can you put my timex in your sack shang, i don’t think this is a timex sort of place?”)
- got accepted to school…now to pick classes?!
august:
- darby’s wedding!…(saw tabby and heather!)
- ichiro’s bum…met ratcliffe 3!
- first outlet mall experience
- saw amanda!!!
- cabin 6…ummm…oh xeno!
- camp ends…oh so sad
september:
- fly home, pack for school…head to camrose!
- get to see cat, amy, dena, greg, ruth and shannon!!!!!!
- get welcomed into the sweetest room with the sweetest roomates, love you girlies!
- buy coffee maker for room
- watch almost famous 100 times
- start school…love it!
- go on first out trip to foothills…yeh phillies!
october:
- second out trip…canoeing!
- welcome back weekend
- official wall climbing supervisor
- alexis on fire concert with jon
- dave goes to uganda for a month
- weekend at jon’s…puke fest, means, ikea with creeper!
- auntie sandra retires
- cathay has her baby…paige lucy nicole!
- dena and greg finish their house…beautiful!
november:
- go home for a weekend…love my life!
- korts and jord get married!
- school school school!
- dave goes to the states with the new choir
- my roomate is hilarious…”i am a sex mongrel”! (she’s gonna kill me!)

- yeah for the end of the year and for dick clark being back!
well…that sure was lame…anyhow…it was my past year and i rather enjoyed it…so whatever! i hope you all have a great new year…and don’t forget to pray for the clbi missions teams that are in peru, kenya, and india…they left on the 27th-ish and will be fly back to ab at the end of january. also pray for jen (treble) as she is going through the beginning stages of dealing with her new diagnosis of luekemia…pray that she is given the strength she needs to deal with the disease and with all the changes it brings.
